Quick Tips

On the Go

  • To-Go Bag
There are times when a mom just doesn't want to carry a big diaper bag. Keep a smaller "to go" bag packed for quick trips to the store or the park. It can be as simple as a large Zip-Loc filled with the essentials: one diaper, small package of wipes, flat toy or book, disposable bib and snack-size zip-loc filled with cheerios. If you carry an oversized purse, your "to-go" bag should fit right inside. (Tip from BlueSuitMom.com, the site for working mothers.)

  • Make the Most of Waiting Time
Carry with you a folder full of items you'd like to read like magazine articles or newspaper clippings. Also keep cards you need to write in your "to go" folder. When you're waiting the doctor's office or for an appointment pull out your folder and pick a task.
