#TideFlag Twitter Chat Thursday May 3rd

Post

So anyone who knows me knows that I love sports and being a busy Mom of 3 busy athletes.  Its how we roll and I am always surprised at how much I enjoy the chaos and fun.  You might also know that after living in the suburbs of Washington DC for 17 years, my love of our country, its rich history, and all the symbolism in between is part of who we are as a family and what my children expect to be true.

This spring I’m tickled to be working with the folks behind the “My Story, Our Flag” project to get you excited about sports and patriotism all summer long!  This week I’ll be co-hosting a Twitter Chat with the amazing  Audrey McClelland where we’ll have all kinds of fun and yes…prizes…you knew there would be prizes!  Check out the details below, visit Audrey’s site to RSVP , and we’ll see you soon!

The Land of the Free. Where we help others at all times and love our neighbor. Being able to do as we please without hurting others and most of all Red, White and Blue makes me think of my family I have lost and who are still fighting for our Freedom!

Both sets of my grandparents immigrated to USA in the early 1900′s , both lost children in World Wars, grandchildren in other Wars . We were all raised with a strong sense of patriotism , proud of who were are, where we came from and where we are going. the flag was always flown at our home at our schools. It symbolized all that we are and all we believe. Sacrifices made so others can be free. The land of the free and the home of the brave.. blue uniforms, red blood shed and white for peace for all and eternal life,. God Bless America.

Seeing our Red, White and Blue Flag, makes me very proud to be an American. Very proud of our Country and the men that have served our Country who have lived and died to give us our freedom. I just love everything our flag stands for.
