Summer Camp Plan B

Post

For parents of younger children who have wrapped up their preschool year, Memorial Day Weekend might be your family’s official kick off to a fun filled summer.  But for some Moms this means even more to juggle as you navigate short term childcare solutions peppered with special activities and camps.  This week I’m delighted to be featured on Primrose Schools Dr. Z and Friends Blog sharing my tips for how find Summer Camp solutions when its all about Plan B.   An excerpt from the post….

Ask your friends. Reach out to your mommy friends to find out where they’re sending their children this summer – they may have recommendations you haven’t considered. Signing your child up for a program where he will know one or more friends can help ease his nerves.  Every mom knows this can make all the difference in making sure that the program is a success.

Dr. Z and Friends is wonderful community for parents with children often in childcare from birth to age six.  I’d love to see you there so stop by to catch the video and tell me…

How do you adjust your summer plans when the camps you had planned for are already full?

Thanks so much for spending time with us today ~ see you next time!

Disclosure: Thanks to Primrose Schools for engaging me to provide a monthly series on the Dr. Z and Friends Blog. I’m delighted to share tips focused on home organization and family time management with an eye towards families with working parents and children in childcare from birth to age 6.  My opinions are entirely my own.
