To know me is to know I love my daily Starbucks. What might my order be? Why its easy ~ A Venti decaf 1 pump extra hot no foam vanilla latte please. What? Too many details? If you think I’m bad you should meet my Mom…soy, extra carmel, upside down…how do you even arrive at upside down? But here’s the deal ~ when I visit my local Starbucks, my daily latte is made to order, just for me, no questions asked and thanks to great baristas, its awesome every time. Thanks to the blessing that allows me to work from home, its easy to hit Starbucks after our last child is off to school and before my first tweet or conference call, right on my way and worth the stop.
The challenge comes when my day starts early, and I can’t exactly open my eyes as easily as I’d like, like all school year long thanks to a 5:30 wake up call for high school. Oh how I’ve wished I could have my latte early. And just like that, my wish has come true! Meet the brand new Starbucks Verismo ~ you had me at home brew!
Earlier this year during BlogHer 2012, I was delighted to be invited to visit with the fabulous team from Starbucks and learn first hand how awesome this machine will be. Check it out!
Today Starbucks announced that the Verismo is on its way, set to arrive on store shelves in just about a month making it a snap to know what’s on my Christmas list. Done!!! I am off the hook excited about this, not only as a single serve home brew option for lattes but all kinds of beloved Starbucks coffees. Its the simple fact that if it wasn’t a latte, it wasn’t worth it that has kept us from buying a home brew machine. I can’t thank Starbucks enough for making it more than worth it to finally take the home brew leap.
Do you use a home brew coffee system? What do you love most about it?
Thanks so much for stopping by ~ we’ll see you next time!
Disclosure: Special thanks to Starbucks for inviting me to visit their suite during BlogHer 2012. I was not asked to post at anytime and my opinions are entirely my own, caffeine free of course!
