Its time to talk about how you can make a year long plan to organize your home. WAIT! Don’t stop reading or turn off the video below ~ stick with me for just a minute or two because this is a lot less daunting than you think. The New Year gives you all kinds of enthusiasm and excitement that leads you to make a HUGE list of everything you want to do…and then completely bail. Peace out, I’m done, can’t handle it, way too much work ~ why did I even bother? Well that’s why I’m here! If you have a year long plan for how to organize your home and give yourself plenty of time to get it done, you’ll be amazed at how much you’ll get accomplished and how proud you will be with the outcome. Its as simple as this:
Making a year long home organizing plan all begins with making that list of repairs and projects, room by room. This carries forward to making a budget. Hopefully most of your repairs can be absorbed into your monthly budget. If they are significant then you’ll need to save. And projects usually have a little bit more financial impact on us that likely mean its time to save so you’ll want to use a budget planner, map out for each project what’s involved, and then get it on the calendar and get your home organized. Share with me, I’d love to know…
What kinds of repairs and projects are on your to-do list for 2014?
We’ll be sharing a lot about what’s going on in our home this year because its a transformation year. So there are repairs and there are projects and I’m excited to share them with you as I go. I hope your 2014 is off to a great start ~ don’t get overwhelmed! Spend the weekend going through this ~ it’s easy I promise. Making plans are the best way to get yourself started and the most successful plans involve knowing what you need to do, budgeting out the cost, and getting it on the calendar. Once you do that, you are gold baby!
Thanks so much for stopping by ~ I look forward to seeing you next time!
