Here are 3 tips to help you better plan for your family vacation, girls’ getaway or couple’s holiday and make sure that your vacation actually happens.
1. Plan Time for Your Vacation
Take out your planner and bring out the school calendars and cross-check that all the information from your child’s calendar has been transferred to the planner. Plan your vacation by identifying when you can take time off. Long weekends, spring breaks, winter breaks and more as well as work-related travels can all be used to plan a holiday and maximize the breaks you already have.
2. Plan your Vacation with a Budget.
January is the time when you’re taking a look at your taxes and finances and there is no better time than now to plan a holiday budget. Start saving money to take a vacation later in the year. Even if you want to do a staycation, put aside money to make that extra-special or enjoyable.
3. Pick a Destination or Plan a Local Vacation.
Once you’ve determined how much money and how much time you have for the vacation, pick a destination or think about going local and exploring your own home state. There would be plenty for you to do, go to and see right at home. Check out the
