Home office organizing tips are plentiful this time of year and for good reason. An organized home office makes it easy to manage your family’s busy life all year long. While key for those who work at home, no matter how much or little time you spend there, January is the time to put make those home office organizing tips work to your advantage. From having a clean, well thought out floor plan and furniture that actually works to being paperwork and clutter free, your goal is to spend time here both creating and working without distraction. No matter how big or small, this space is where you’ll Outsmart the Chaos all year long.
If you are working Your 12 Month Organizing Plan, you’ll see that the home office is where we begin. With 15 years of working from home while having the blessing of sharing ideas here with you at GO MOM!, I’ve found that an organized home office helps me be more focused in every other area of my life. In our home this space doubles as our family office and photo organization center and is also located just off the kitchen. Some days its a three ring circus of activity so there’s no question, I simply can’t afford for it not to run well!
Now that we have arrived at Mid January, must of us have finally settled our families and ourselves into post holiday break routines. Believe me it can take a week or two to find that schedule groove and be on your organized way. So its time to warp your head around taking on this first and most important organized space of the year. We’ve got four steps to the process ~ check it out!
