Paper:

  1. The DIY GO MOM!® Planner is designed to print on 8 1/2 x 11 paper.  Consider using a higher paper weight for greater durability however standard copy paper will work as well.
  2. Count the number of pages needed for your order to print in full and make sure you have sufficient paper supplies to complete the print function.
Printer:
  1. Check your ink cartridge status to make sure you have enough in supply and back up enabling you to complete the printing process uninterrupted at the time of purchase.
  2. Choose color or black and white when printing and be certain your printer is set to receive the selected choice.
Customizations:
Below are ideas about how you can truly customize your DIY GO MOM!® Planner:
  1. Protect it: Once you print your DIY GO MOM!® Planner, you will need to house it in some capacity. We recommend a 3 ring binder 1/2″ to 1″ in size with a clear view cover enabling you to insert our custom cover or create one of your own. A few binders to get you started:
    - Walmart: Carries wide assortment of plain and fashion binders $4 and up
www.Avery.com: Zazzle offers a FUN customizable option at $28
  2. Cover it: Personalize your planner by creating a custom cover. You can make a photo collage, use your favorite artwork, your child’s latest masterpiece, and as many scrap booking supplies as you like!
  3. Create tabs: Consider using Poly Index Dividers with Two Sided Slash Pockets to catch important paperwork in every section. You can create months in the Weekly Bundle, create sections for the Resource Bundle, and add unlimited additional sections to further organize your busy days. Tab headings to start you out:
    1. GO MOM!® Monthly Planner
    2. GO MOM!® Weekly Planner
    3. GO MOM!® Mom’s Corner
    4. GO MOM!® Contacts
    5. GO MOM!® Kids
    6. GO MOM!® Out & About
    7. GO MOM!® Medical Resources
  4. Print it: Consider printing on color paper and if you use a 3 ring binder, we recommend using an office quality 3-hole punch to make your pages functional and align correctly with the spacing of the rings.
  5. Bind it: If you prefer to have your planner bound, take your pages to a local copy center that provides Coil Binding services. You can include not only your pages but any other items you might want. Remember to choose card stock covers to protect the pages and items within the binding.
