Customizations:
Below are ideas about how you can truly customize your DIY GO MOM!® Planner:
Step 1: Protect it- Once you print your DIY GO MOM!® Planner, you will need to house it in some capacity. We recommend a 3 ring binder 1/2″ to 1″ in size with a clear view cover enabling you to insert our custom cover or create one of your own. Binders I love:
Staples Brand Better and Better View Bidners ~ It comes in every color of the rainbow and if you like a hard side binder these are full of fun! They start at 1″ and can go bigger if you need to.
Avery Brand Durable View Binder ~ A classic clear view binder in traditional and a handful of more festive covers. You can personalize by inserting anything you like on the cover and spine, it also comes in just 1/2″ to 3″ sizes giving you plenty of options.
Step 2: Create tabs- Consider using Poly Index Dividers with Two Sided Slash Pockets to catch important paperwork in every section. You can create months in the Weekly Bundle, create sections for the Resource Bundle, and add unlimited additional sections to further organize your busy days. I am over the moon for Avery Slash Pocket Insertable Tab Dividers and love that you can get them in sets of 5 or 8 cut tabs ~ total customization.
Tab headings to start you out:
- Monthly Planner
- Weekly Planner
- Mom’s Corner
- Contacts
- Kids
- Out & About
- Medical
Step 3: Print it- Consider printing on color paper and if you use a 3 ring binder, we recommend using an office quality 3-hole punch to make your pages functional and align correctly with the spacing of the rings.
Step 4: Assemble It- The last step in the process, the GO MOM! DIY Planner is a snap to assemble and an organized saving grace to use.
