Andrea Deckard is a woman I am so blessed to know! I met her last year during a brand event and have followed her work with great interest ever since. Here is what is obvious to love: that she’s a Mom from Ohio and everyone from Ohio is nice, that she is from my childhood hometown of Cincinnati and loves the Reds, which everyone should love the Reds, and that she is a masterful business woman taking the art of saving money and making it into a successful and diverse brand and now leading the way teaching savvy business through savvy blogging.
Her first trip to The Disney Social Media Moms Celebration, Andrea did not bring her family due to an already scheduled Disney family cruise in April. Much to her delight, she was able to connect with other Moms traveling sans family and a girls weekend ensued. Only this time, it included Cinderella’s Castle! I won’t lie, I was praying it would be me as Fairy Godmother read every number but alas, I’ll have to pray for more pixie dust in my future. What’s so wonderful about this magical piece of The Disney Social Media Moms Celebration is how it symbolizes how truly spectacular the magic at Disney World can be. Cinderella’s castle isn’t something you can reserve or pay thousands to enjoy, its simply not available to the general public. Used for special guests and wonderful occasions, its one of the many secret treasures Walt Disney World Resort keeps wrapped in pixie dust for just the right reasons. Including one lucky Mom to experience this during the event is simply good business, putting a spotlight on the unbelievable helping us all to believe our dreams can come true.
For Andrea, a frugal Mom blogger, savvy business woman, and busy Mom of 3 Boys, being a true Princess for one night really is a dream come true. Read more about her experience here and all I have to say congratulations Princess Andrea…you deserve it!!!
Disclaimer: Included in my paid registration for The Disney Social Media Moms Celebration, I received for myself and my family discounted accommodations, part tickets, meals, and attendance to special events. I was not asked to share my experience and my opinions are entirely my own. I am a proud alumni of The Walt Disney World College Program and consider this company the standard for excellence. I am honored to have an opportunity to share their pixie dust with you now. Thanks for indulging my lifelong love affair with a brand that promises to wow you at every turn.
