Easter crafts for kids always make a wonderful addition to the celebration that surrounds this very special time. No matter how old my kids get, they are always eager to decorate Easter eggs and our youngest never met a holiday themed craft she didn’t like. So if you are looking for some truly special crafts to share with your little bunnies, check out my favorites from the always create team at Disney’s Spoonful.com.
Easter Topiary Tree
Topiaries are always so elegant and the one pictured about is as colorful as it is clever. I love that it is so affordable to create, using Easter chocolates and a styrofoam ball garnished with a pretty ribbon to make just the right decorative statement. This Easter topiary tree would also make a perfect Easter Brunch hostess gift!
These colorful yarn eggs would be wonderful on an inside Easter tree. Have you kids make them in all shapes and sizes to give you the same kind of intrigue you’d find on a holiday tree. Stored well, they will last for years.
One of the most clever Easter baskets I’ve ever seen! I love the simplicity of this Flower Basket and its a sweet nod towards spring and all the new beginnings to come. This would make a wonderful gift for anyone in your child’s life and a great craft that can be modified for any spring holiday. Definitely making these!
Aluminum Foil Egg Dyeing
Because one of the first things you will do is decorate eggs, this has to be my favorite new find! That you can simply wrap the egg in paint splattered aluminum foil and the end result is as colorful and unique as the child who made it makes me love this even more!
Bird Seed Wreath
What a fun way to welcome spring! Dress this bird seed wreath up with Easter themed ribbon and you’ll have an eco-friendly welcome to all your guests on Easter Day. Your kids will love helping you make the bird seed mold as much as the birds will love nibbling on it when its done. Perfect for a backyard gate or patio hanger, place on a doorway you are happy to see feathered friends flock too.
I never met an easy craft I didn’t love as much as my kids and I can’t wait to spend time this coming week not only making these sweet crafts but memories with my children as we celebrate this special time of year. Tell me…
